Whisky Kavalan King Car. Distillery King Car is located in Yilan, Taiwan and the single malt produced there takes its name from the indigenous people originally lived in this northeastern corner of the island, the Kavalan. Although the distillery came into operation only in 2005, the warm tropical climate helps to mature the whisky more efficiently and quickly and is available an impressive selection of whiskies. The King Car, for example, has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Competition International Wine & Spirits Competition 2012.
