Whisky Roe & Co. Roe & Co is named after George Roe, the world-renowned whisky producer, one of the pioneers of the golden age of Irish Whisky in the 19th century. The George Roe & Co distillery, which spanned more than 17 acres on Thomas Street in Dublin, was once Ireland's largest distillery. On the nose, Roe & Co is creamy, deliciously aromatic and remarkably complete with notes of soft spices and sweet sugar with warm vanilla elements. The aftertaste is mild and slow, with a soft creamy texture at the finish. The sweet notes of pear, immediately visible on Roe & Co, are a wonderful tribute to the once great distillery of George Roe & Co. In the remains of the old distillery, is the old windmill, known as St. Patrick’s and a majestic pear dating back to 1850. Roe & Co is filtered using a non-chill technique and bottled at 45% ABV.
