Tequila Jose Cuervo Black. Jose Cuervo Black is aged 51% Agave tequila in smoked oak barrels for one year. Jose Cuervo Black is a double distillation product of blue agave grown near the city of Tequila and produced in the 200 year old distillery of the family, La Rojeña. It consists of a mixture of different Anejo tequila and matures in oak barrels for 12 months. The mixture is further rested so that the ingredients can be fully incorporated and then bottled. Jose Cuervo Black has a bright orange color and a generous and spicy herbal scent. The velvety body produces extremely little heat, but fills the mouth with warm tempting flavors, including cocoa, cinnamon, apple and candies. The finish is long, soft and fragrant.
